Content Editor Position - Opportunity
Capital Link is in the process of upgrading our Shipping Website with the intent to establish it as a main source of information and knowledge on the shipping markets.
The Content Editor will have the responsibility daily to
- Interact with the various parties that Capital Link has an agreement with to source and feature content.
- Research and identify other sources of information (internet, print, video etc.) where from, and in compliance with the relevant copyright regulations, we can gather content that we can feature on our website.
- Write editorial pieces and notes to post on the website
- Conduct interviews with industry participants, as directed by Capital Link’s management
- Post and update the material on the website
- Contribute ideas as to the development of the website
- Assist with the Social Media and Digital Platform of Capital Link
Requirements/Skills:
- Knowledge of shipping and the maritime industry
- Fluency in English
- Ability to conduct on line research
- Ability to write and in general to communicate well
- Familiarity with IT platforms and Social Media
- A degree on shipping and a journalistic background would be a plus
