We are looking for a talented and motivated Cyber Security Engineer to join our team!
Responsibilities
What you will do?
- Gather business and security requirements for business solutions and support processes, applications and services setup and operations
- Prepare technical proposals for software solutions
- Implement, train and support SYNTAX’s offered solutions
- Cooperation with internal sales teams to promote SYNTAX’s solutions by conducting pre-sales activities (customer analysis, presentations, Proof of Concepts, etc.)
- You will assist customers in setting up security processes & tools (such as PAM, DLP, EDR), assistance with security controls, mitigating risks and understand GRC related issues across different sectors in their complex IT landscapes
- Expand your knowledge of current and modern security technology trends (zero trust, cloud security, AΙ, OT sec.) and experience in their adoption as to address real security challenges

Basic Requirements
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in similar roles
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Information Security fields
- An understanding of infrastructure technologies and associated risks as well as security best practices that can be used in complex environments, infrastructure and data
- Extensive experience with popular operating systems (Windows, Linux, Unix)
- Knowledge of Servers or Networks Administration is considered a plus
- Strong ICT skills including familiarity with Microsoft Office365 product suite
- Excellent command of Greek and English language, along with effective communication and presentation skills
- You are ambitious, client-oriented building and managing excellent client relationships across a range of different industries
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Candidates must recognize and deal appropriately with confidential and sensitive information
Good to have
- Master’s degree in Information Security
- Relevant certifications - CISSP, CISM, ISO27001 lead implementor/auditor, Microsoft Security certification or relevant security certification
- Prior penetration testing skills will be considered a strong plus
