Basic Information

On behalf of our client, we are looking for a Technician for Electrical Airfield Services to join their team!

As a Technician of Electrical Airfield Services, you will perform highly skilled technical duties in relation to installations, maintenance and repair of the Airport’s airfield lighting systems to ensure safe and efficient airport operations. 

Responsibilities

You will:

  • Install, maintain and test the following electrical and control systems at the airfields: Runway lighting, Taxiway lighting and signs, Control System Airfield Lighting (COSAL), Apron lighting, Visual docking guidance system, and Fence lighting
  • Implement small to medium-sized airfield lighting projects 
  • Adhere to company procedures and quality policies to ensure the high reliability of airfield systems
  • Contribute to other departmental projects, as necessary

Basic Requirements

  • Electrician’s degree from Technical School, Technological Educational Institute or equivalent 
  • Certification by the Chamber of Industry, relative to the primary task / Licence grade six (ΣΤ’) of Electrical Technician
  • 2-6 years of similar working experience, preferably in an airport airfield's electrical repairs and construction activities
  • Experience in electronics and PLC systems
  • Excellent knowledge and use of diagnostic & repair electrical tools, common to the airfield lighting construction and maintenance
  • Thorough knowledge of safety procedures and relevant airport regulations
  • Driver License Category B or C for the operation of specialized corporate vehicles
  • Very good ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics
  • Very good knowledge of English language (reading, writing and verbal communication)
  • Ability to work as a team member
  • Tech-savvy
