His/her main scope will be the execution of Fixed Telephony circuit/service activations in direct cooperation with Enterprise Level customers and field telecom technicians.

job description iconResponsibilities
  • Evaluate customer infrastructure and confirm that the correct equipment is offered to the End Customer.
  • Organize service integrator’s technician visits to customer premises in order to perform all required on-site activities to activate the offered services.
  • Organize telco field technician visits to customer premises, external cabinets and distribution points to perform all required patching, metering, troubleshooting activities to activate the offered services.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve customer technical issues, which arise during activation.
  • Run health checks and quality/performance tests to assure the best-delivered quality of the offered services.
  • Perform a fixed period monitoring to assure the stability of the circuity and the full compliance of the offered service to the End Customer requirements.
  • Receive work orders, handle and document all activities on a CRM platform.
job requirements iconBasic Requirements

Core competencies and knowledge: 

  • Good understanding of end to end fixed voice telecommunication network set up and operation ie.
    - xDSL technologies and profiles (ADLS, ADSL2, ADLS2+, VDSL, VDSL2, VDSL2-VPlus etc..)
    - Telco Active Equipment (DSLAM, CPE etc…)
    - Infrastructure and Cabling (Building Telco Box, LLU, KV / Cabin, Patching, copper cabling etc..)
    - PBX administration 
  • Experience in usage of CRM platforms for trouble tickets and work orders handling, preferably SIEBEL
  • Experience in usage of cable testing and quality/performance metering tools.
  • Experience in working as a team member. 
  • Strong ability to interact with multiple departments and coordinate internal/external stakeholders and field technicians.
  • Experience in working under pressure and defined/strict performance targets (time, quality)
  • Very good organizational, analytical skills, detail oriented with the ability to multi-task.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Professional qualifications and working experience: 

  • Minimum 1 year of technical experience in relevant telco oriented positions.
  • Academic technical education with qualifications in telecommunications, electronics and/or computing. TEI or University degree.
  • Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • A good command of written and spoken English.
  • Greek native speaker
