We are looking for an enthusiastic Mid-Level Integration Engineer to join our IT Operations Engineering team, reporting directly to the IT Operations Manager.

The role will be based in Gerakas HQ Offices, Athens Greece.

As an Integration Engineer you will bring domain specific knowledge, skills, and best practices to a team of talented professionals who have created a world-class technical infrastructure to support Upstream’s growing business.

Your main responsibilities will be:

  • Setting up, configuring, testing, deploying and supporting Upstream’s messaging and billing gateways in order to interact with each client for the purposes of large-scale mobile marketing campaigns.
  • Collaborating with several technical teams in order to deliver the desired integration in line with other project requirements
  • Serving as the point of escalation for any messaging/billing related problems for live projects
  • Participating in troubleshooting sessions with client technical teams
  • Proactively administering Upstream’s messaging and billing Gateways in order to ensure the highest level of availability
  • Automate installation and integration procedures

job requirements iconBasic Requirements

The skills we require:

  • University degree in Computer Science, Engineering or similar discipline
  • 2+ years of professional experience in IT or hands-on experience with networking technologies (VPNs, VLANs)
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with Linux/Unix systems
  • Good knowledge of a scripting  or other programming language
  • Understanding of commonly used telecommunications protocols
  • Demonstrated troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in network troubleshooting using tools like: wireshark, trace route, netcat etc.
  • Excellent written and verbal skills in English
