TWI Hellas is a wholly owned subsidiary of TWI specializing in robotics, digital manufacturing and artificial intelligence. For our office in Kerameikos, one of the coolest neighbourhoods in Athens, we are looking to hire a Machine Learning Engineer.

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for supporting the development and deployment of advanced AI - powered modules underpinning our offerings to our clients and partners across Europe. This will involve:

  • Designing and implementing Machine Learning methods and analysing their performance
  • Implementing and deploying AI toolchains supporting applications ranging from robotic control to advanced digital manufacturing decision support systems
  • Continuously improving algorithms and methods through rigorous investigation and evaluation of alternatives

Basic Requirements

  • BSc in Engineering, Computer Science or Mathematics
  • Solid understanding of Machine Learning concepts
  • Excellent command of Python
  • Experience in at least one professional or academic project involving Machine Learning
    algorithms
  • Passion for learning, exploring and developing new models and machine learning and AI algorithms
  • Communication skills

Good to have

  • Experience with Machine Learning libraries like PyTorch and/or Tensorflow
  • Experience with Machine Leaning competitions (e.g. Kaggle competitions)
  • Familiarity with Reinforcement Learning concepts
  • Familiarity with Robotic Control applications
  • Active Github repositories
  • Completed online courses related to Machine Learning (fast.ai, deeplearning.ai, EdX, Coursera, Udemy, DataCamp etc.)
  • Creative skills
