Citizen is a London, UK based Fintech that provides passwordless login and payments for e-commerce merchants. We allow consumers to login and pay using just their face or fingerprint.

Our business platform allows merchants to transact directly with consumers using Open Banking payments and information services; we significantly reduce merchant processing fees.

We have recently raised seed capital to scale the business. Our journey from TechStars 2017 has seen us build partnerships with global merchant acquirers, payment gateways and mobile providers.

The business is currently a team of eight, reporting to the CEO, who is the ex-CTO of Worldpay.
