Basic Information

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Construction Coordinator to join our team at Manifest Services SA. The Construction Coordinator will be responsible for assisting the Construction Team in planning, coordinating, and overseeing construction projects. They will ensure that projects have all procurement needs on time, regarding the equipment and materials. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as a strong understanding of construction processes and project management.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Construction Manager in procurement, planning and organizing construction projects
  • Coordinate and communicate with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, including contracts, permits, and progress reports
  • Oversee invoicing processes 
  • Track project timelines and delivery plans, and update stakeholders accordingly
  • Ensure compliance with building codes, safety guidelines, and other regulations
  • Perform periodic inspections to monitor the progress and quality of work
  • Resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during the construction process
  • Collaborate with the construction team to identify and implement process improvements

Basic Requirements

  • 5 years of experience as a Construction Coordinator or similar role 
  • Degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineer
  • Strong understanding of construction processes and project management principles
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
  • Ability to work with figures, offers and pre-invoices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in construction management software and MS Office applications
  • Knowledge of working with ERP systems
  • Knowledge of building codes, safety guidelines, and other construction regulations
