We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join our team and share our values to work as a Team Together in interesting projects.
Responsibilities
What will your typical day to day look like? You will:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify data requirements and architect efficient data pipelines.
- Develop, test, and maintain robust and scalable data architectures, encompassing databases, large-scale processing systems, and data warehouses.
- Implement data processing and transformation solutions using Python, SSIS, and other relevant technologies.
- Integrate with Azure Data Warehouse, Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory, and Databricks to enhance our data solutions.
- Manage Delta transaction logs for ensuring data consistency and reliability.
- Design and implement reporting mechanisms, with a focus on Power BI, to present insights and analysis effectively in the context of financial services processes.
- Utilize a deep understanding and business knowledge of financial concepts to enhance data solutions and provide valuable insights to stakeholders.
- Ensure the highest standards of data quality, integrity, and reliability throughout the entire data pipeline.
- Troubleshoot and optimize data infrastructure to meet performance and reliability benchmarks.
- Stay informed about emerging trends and technologies in data engineering, actively contributing to continuous improvement efforts.

Basic Requirements
- 3+ years of proven experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.
- Bachelor's and Master's degree in a related field.
- Working experience with Python for data processing and manipulation.
- Expertise with relevant data engineering tools and frameworks (e.g., Apache Spark, Apache Flink).
- Solid understanding of database design principles and experience with both SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Familiarity with SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services).
- Proficiency in using Databricks as a data engineering and analytics platform.
- Experience in managing Delta transaction logs for maintaining data consistency.
- Experience in designing and implementing reporting mechanisms, with a focus on Power BI.
- Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Good to have
- Experience with Azure Data Warehouse, Azure Synapse, and Azure Data Factory.
- A deep understanding and business knowledge of financial concepts.
