For our office in Kerameikos, one of the coolest neighbourhoods in Athens, we are looking to hire a Front-end Developer (React.js) to help develop user-friendly web-based interfaces around our cutting-edge digital manufacturing tools.

What You'll Do

You will be responsible for crafting a web-based user interface that will deliver advanced digital manufacturing management capabilities to our clients and partners across Europe.

This will involve:

  • Engaging with over 30 leading research and industrial organisations across Europe to extract the functional requirements of the web-based user interface
  • Designing, developing and implementing the user interface that will provide digital manufacturing management functionality and consume REST APIs
  • Collaborating with our cross-disciplinary team, comprising mechanical, software and algorithm engineers, researchers and scientists, to integrate the user interface with a 3D visualisation and configuration tool

job requirements iconBasic Requirements

We have a few particular skills that we're looking for in this role:

  • 1-4 years of experience in web development
  • 1+ years of experience with React
  • A strong focus on both user experience and aesthetics
  • Excellent command of Javascript, HTML and CSS
  • Solid knowledge of code versioning practices using git
  • Deep understanding of modern web application frameworks/libraries principles
  • Experience with RESTful web services
  • Passion for learning, exploring and software development

It would be a big bonus if you had:

  • Familiarity with core UI/UX principles
  • Experience with the HTML5 canvas API
  • Experience with server-side frameworks/libraries (e.g. node.js)
  • Familiarity with Scrum principles and processes
  • Experience in graphics and/or animation design
