Keen to further empower our team by onboarding more talent, we are looking to hire a Logistics Manager to join our Warehouse team in Xanthi. The role is responsible for ensuring thorough process planning relevant to storage and distribution and for overseeing the compliance with legislation, company’s policies, quality standards, safety and environmental regulations.

Responsibilities

You will:

  • Develop the 3-year strategic plan for the logistics discipline linked to company’s business plans & priorities
  • Determine the storage and distribution strategies in order to facilitate the implementation of service level agreements and to achieve services excellence and cost efficiency
  • Conduct the planning for warehouses and distribution centers in order to achieve efficiency in both operations and capacity
  • Identify and eliminate non value-added processes in order to reduce losses and foster operational excellence across manufacturing and distribution areas
  • Redesign and optimize transportation models in terms of service excellence and cost and perform reporting and data analysis to identify issues and opportunities for process improvements
  • Perform operational audits continuously to ensure compliance of procedures according to local legislation, safety regulations, quality standards and environment protection

Basic Requirements

  • At least 4 years of working experience in a similar role (ideally in the industrial sector)
  • Degree in Business Administration/Logistics or related field
  • Proven experience working with SAP and MS Office applications
  • Knowledge of regulatory framework & process design
  • Safety & Quality mindedness
  • Fluency in English 
  • Experience working with multi-disciplinary team
  • Approachable and team oriented, capable to build strong relationships with various stakeholders in a positive work environment
