We are looking to hire on behalf of our Client a talented QA Manual Tester to join the team and contribute to ongoing and upcoming projects!
 
As a QA Manual Tester, you will work as an expert across Banking Application implementation projects. You will have the opportunity to work close to our clients, in order to understand their requirements and to translate them to functional specifications. 
 

Responsibilities

  • Perform thorough manual testing of software applications, specifically in the domain of core banking, to identify defects and ensure functionality meets requirements
  • Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on project specifications
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including developers, product managers, and designers to understand project requirements and timelines
  • Document and report bugs, errors, and issues encountered during testing phases
  • Participate in project planning and provide input on testing strategies, timelines, and resource allocation
  • Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by providing feedback on testing processes and suggesting enhancements

Basic Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience working as a QA Manual Tester
  • Solid understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices
  • Proficiency in creating test plans, test cases, and test scripts
  • Experience with bug tracking tools such as JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
     

Good to have

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • Experience with testing in the domain of core banking and financial industry is preferred
  • Ability to communicate & cooperate efficiently with remotely located co-workers using collaboration tools (Microsoft Teams, Slack)
